Veolia, working in partnership with Birmingham City Council, has opened a Warm Welcome space in the Visitor Centre at the Tyseley Household Recycling Centre. It joins a national network of over 4,000 inclusive spaces run by local businesses, organisations and places of worship. The campaign originally targeted communities suffering from energy poverty, but its mission has since evolved to foster connection and support for anyone.
Veolia’s Warm Welcome space aims to provide a cosy, safe space for visitors to socialise, whilst learning about essential recycling and waste recovery services. The space is open on Wednesdays (11am -2.30pm) and can be found in the Visitor Centre at the Tyseley Household Recycling Centre, James Rd, Birmingham, B11 2BA. The doors are open to all members of the public, and there is no need to book in advance.
